As the writing teacher, my goals for each child are:

*to become the best writer that he or she may be

*to learn to love the art of writing or at least,be willing to give it a try!

*to learn how to implement the Writing Process and 6+1 Traits into their daily writing

I love watching children bloom into confident writers. However, as teachers, we must provide them with the tools that will enable them to explore their writing abilities. Learning about the Writing Process and the traits of writing are such tools that will help children grow as writers!  Therefore, in the Writing Pad, the main emphasis is on providing these writing tools while giving the children time to discover their own writing talents! Write-On!!!
