Registration

Parent's Checklist

The person enrolling the student must be the legal parent or guardian; this person will have to sign all registration forms.

Please be aware of Buford City Schools' registration policy. A student must be registered by 12:00 noon to begin the next day. If a student registers after 12:00 noon, they will have to wait until the second day after registering.

You will need the following information before you can register your student:

• Proof of Residency - Residency is within the city limits of Buford; City of Buford Utility bill or Rental/Lease Agreement.  If unsure, please call Buford City Hall at (770) 945-6761. 
• Copy of Certified Birth Certificate - No cards accepted
• Copy of Social Security Card
• Updated copy of Immunizations on GA Form 3231 - You can obtain this information from your child's doctor, Buford Health Department (770) 614-2400, or the previous school.
• Hearing, Dental & Vision Screening on GA Form 3300 - You can obtain this information from your child's doctor, Buford Health Department (770) 614-2400, or the previous school.
• Copy of Custody Court Order (if applicable)
• Any records from the student's previous school:  Withdrawal form, current grades (Progress Report or Report Card), Discipline and Attendance record
