Mrs. Lenz and family found their way to Buford, GA in January of 2002.  Prior to coming to Buford her family lived in Clarksville, TN where Mrs. Lenz has experience teaching elementary music for two and a half years, high school band for three years, and served as an adjunct professor and Coordinator of the Community School of the Arts for Austin Peay State University. 

Mrs. Lenz has a Bachelor of Music Education from Eastern Illinois University and a Masters in Horn Performance and Conducting from Austin Peay State University.  She has been teaching at Buford Elementary School for ten years and was named BES Teacher of the Year in 2007.  In addition to her duties at BES she currently serves as the assistant choral director at BA as well as teaches private horn lessons throughout the community.  Mrs. Lenz is married to Gary W. Lenz who teaches at BA.  They have two sons, Jonathan and Jacob.
