Early morning weather conditions created by floods, severe ice, snowstorms, or other weather related emergencies sometimes make it necessary to close schools. The district has a plan for emergency closings, delayed openings, and early closings if deemed necessary by emergencies or severe weather conditions. The following radio/TV stations will carry this information:

WSB 750 AM and 95.5 FM

*The superintendent will make the final decision for school closings. The decision will be made by 6:00 am if at all possible.
