All written requests should be sent to Buford City Schools Central Office by July 29, 2016.
504 Procedural Safeguards
A Section 504 Plan is an educational plan describing what accommodations, special services, or related aids and services that will be provided to meet the individual educational needs of eligible students as adequately as the needs of nondisabled students are met. Buford City Schools implements all mandates for Section 504 for eligible students.
In accordance with IDEA regulations, Buford City Schools seeks to ensure that all disabled students (ages 3-21) who are in need of special education within its jurisdiction are identified, located, and evaluated. This includes those students who are Home School and those students who attend Private School.
