Transportation for Students with Disabilities

Special transportation services are available for students whose Individualized Education Program (IEP) includes transportation as a required related service. The IEP team may determine that a student requires transportation on a general education bus with accommodations or on a specially equipped bus.

Necessary modifications may include, but are not limited to: power lifts, wheelchair securement systems, specialized seat belts, harnesses, car seats, a bus monitor, or designated seating arrangements.
