More than 200 parents attended January’s BCS Parent Night at Buford High School

The goal of the event was to provide BCS stakeholders an opportunity to come together to network and collaboratively learn strategies for supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially.

The keynote address from members of the Gwinnett County Police Department informed parents about human trafficking providing tips on what to look out for and how to best protect their children.

Over 15 informational, break-out sessions were available following the keynote. The topics and content of the sessions were designed to provide parents/guardians with information on trending topics in education.

Each session concluded with an information question-and-answer segment.
