Non-Resident Information for the 2024-2025 School Year
 
Applications will be accepted for Kindergarten and Ninth Grade ONLY.
All other grade levels are closed.
 
Current Tuition Yearly Amount: $2,000.00
 
KINDERGARTEN INFORMATION
  • Beginning January 10, 2024 at 8:30 a.m., paper copy applications for Kindergarten will be available from the Buford City Schools Central Office, located at 2625 Sawnee Avenue. The application will also be available on our website at www.bufordcityschools.org under “Tuition Information” for print beginning December 15, 2023.
  • Applications will be accepted from January 10, 2024 to January 31, 2024 ONLY. Applications must be turned into the Central Office along with all the paperwork and application fee.
    NO online applications will be accepted.
  • Provided the tuition application is submitted within the tuition window, the order in which we receive applications will not impact the selection process. In the event the number of applications exceeds the available capacity at the Kindergarten level, the school will conduct a random lottery.
  • The following items MUST be submitted with the application:
    • Authorization to Release Information/Preschool Teacher Contact Information (allows us to contact the preschool teacher via email or phone directly)
    • Copy of IEP, 504 Plan, RTI, Speech, or ESOL paperwork (if applicable)
  • $250.00 Application Fee is due at the time you make application.
    • The application fee is NON-REFUNDABLE and must be paid in the form of a check, money order or cash. No credit cards are accepted.
    • If the student is accepted, the $250 will apply toward the tuition amount due.
 
NINTH GRADE INFORMATION
  • Beginning January 10, 2024, at 8:30 a.m., paper copy applications for Ninth Grade will be available from the Buford City Schools Central Office, located at 2625 Sawnee Avenue. The application will also be available on our website at www.bufordcityschools.org under “Tuition Information” for print beginning December 15, 2023.
  • Applications will be accepted from January 10, 2024 to January 31, 2024 ONLY. Applications must be turned into the Central Office along with all the paperwork and application fee.
    NO online applications will be accepted.
  • Provided the tuition application is submitted within the tuition window, the order in which we receive applications will not impact the selection process.
  • The following items MUST be submitted with the application:
    • An official sealed copy of your student’s record/transcript which contains, but is not limited to the
      following items:
    • 1st Semester Report Card for the Current 2023-2024 School Year
    •  2 Preceding Years Report Cards (2022-2023 & 2021-2022)
    • All Standardized Test Scores
    • Discipline Report (If none, a note stating no discipline on file.)
    • Copy of IEP, 504 Plan, RTI, Gifted Eligibility, Speech, or ESOL Paperwork (if applicable)
  • $250.00 Application Fee is due at the time you make application.
