Tuition application windows for 2026-2027 will close on January 23, 2026, for Kindergarten and January 30, 2026, for 9th grade.

Buford City Schools will have a Learn-From-Home Day on Monday, February 2nd.

We will resume normal operations on Tuesday, February 3rd.

Buford City Schools will resume normal operations, January 28, 2026, including all extracurricular activities.

Due to ice accumulation and hazardous road conditions, Buford City Schools will be closed for in-person instruction on Monday, January 26, 2026.

Students will participate in a Learn-From-Home-Day instead.  All school buildings and facilities will be closed, and all extracurricular activities and events are canceled as well.  

Students should follow their teachers' instructions for assignments. Teachers are available during school hours to provide support, and schools will coordinate with families to offer support during power outages.

Monday night’s regularly scheduled Board meeting has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 28, 4:00 p.m.
