Welcome to the BCSS Communications webpage. Our department is responsible for supporting the internal and external school district communications tactics used to broadcast information to students, parents, guardians, faculty, staff, and the media.
Our mission is to collaborate with the District’s Superintendent, Deputy Superintendent, and members of the Board of Education to ensure that sustainable, humble, accountable, relevant, and established information is broadcast to all shareholders in a timely manner.
Members of the media can request to film, photograph, or interview Buford City Schools staff members, students, or board members by dialing 404-243-0596 or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
BCSS works cooperatively with all news outlets for coverage of issues and events involving the school district, its students, or staff.
We abide by all Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act requirements (FERPA) along with the Child Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We are also dedicated to providing all students with a safe learning environment without unnecessary interruptions. Therefore, the media request is a best practice in effect for all school campuses and facilities.
